E-mail Marketing





E-mail marketing is a Direct Marketing tool which serves a commercial message to a group of people using email. It is broadly means that every email sent to a potential or current customer could be considered email marketing. Through email we can send ads, request business or solicit sales or donations and is meant to build loyalty, trust or brad awareness. Email marketing can be done to either cold lists or current customer in the database.

Types of Email Marketing

Transactional Emails -
Transactional emails are trigger based emails from a customer’s action with a company. It is includes dropped basket message, purchase or order confirmation emails and email receipts. The primary goal of transactional email is to convey information regarding the action that triggered it.

Direct Emails – Direct email is use for communicating a promotional message. It is use by different companies for promoting their products. They collect a list of customers or prospect email addresses for sending their promotional messages.
